hi there,

can anyone confirm whether Olympic use an A340 on the LHR-ATH route? Looking on their timetable, flight OA270 shows as a 737-400 on Monday, yet shows as a A340 for the other days of the week (checked 8-14 june). Is this a typo on their website timetable or does an A340 operate on this route? Thanks.

Normally, the middle flight of the day is a 340, the rest are a 747.

thanks sunshine- is this definite? I'm looking to go to ATH and as i haven't been on a 340 before would like to do so

Olympic dont use 747's anymore. The A340's of Olympic are OK. Standard leg room feels restricted by underfloor entertainment box. Tiny seat back monitor. Business class looks a bit better though it doesnt get great reviews. Seats felt as if they were made of wood. Only good thing about entertainment system was moving map. Good to go on something different though.

Oops, I meant 737's. I don't know where I got 747 from. They went out many years ago.
