air rage by more pop stars

apparently lee ryan of blue according to the sun got shirty at lhr on the BA FLIGHT to prg with the BOARDING staff

according to his colleagues the gate staff set this off, as he was late at the gate for boarding after knocking back a few in the BA lounge

his previous escapades show this as modus operandi

the band were on their way to prg to make a video

so the staff take a 'swipe' at him

he gets 'shirty'

and 'sorry seems to be the hardest word'

and if you look at gossip columns his antics behind the wheel while p&ss*d may have cost the band a sponsorship deal with
an auto manufacturer

why cant young people handle it better!!!

That's a massive generalisation. I don't get annoyed easily but you're obviously not broad minded enough to admit that you were probably young once, probably made mistakes, and probably by the sound of it didn't learn to think about how what you say or type comes across.

Blimey African, a thread hijack with the first reply.

Why not direct your 'anger' against the total feckwit who foully abused groundstaff -- and who has a track record of this sort of thing -- rather than a fellow ppruner who wishes to call attention to this gross behaviour?

I really don't know why BA kowtow to these little tossers.

He shouldn't be driven by a Nigel again.

apparently lee ryan of blue...

Who?

Give it a year or so and he'll be sweeping the floors in the BA Lounge...

acmi48 21st Aug 2003 01:43

my daughter aged 15 adores them

if i make a nuisance of myself at a check in she promptly disowns me as a loud mouth arrogant nit wit..

so to mr dude..no offence but i have been round the block and learnt to behave along the way.. the fact remains..would you want this guy in front of you on your next flight and how will feel about it if he throws up on you half thru a 10 hr flt

Noah Zark. 21st Aug 2003 04:56

He ought to have been escorted round the back out of sight of everyone and had his a**e kicked good and hard and told to sod off!
Jumped up little tosser.

GustyOrange 21st Aug 2003 14:58

If he threw up over me I'd punch his lights in. Simple really.

Oh purleeese! 'lee ryan from blue'? Tragic little s**t seems to be under the illusion that he 'IS' someone! Whatever. If youre under the age of 13, you might like him. None of the BA groundstaff are under the age of 13, so quite rightly treated him as any other passenger and dealt with the 'situation' accordingly. And when the 'pop sensation' that is Blue finally dissappear without trace (not long now i fancy) the lovely Lee would be lucky to get a job sweeping the streets, let alone the BA lounge.

evenflow 21st Aug 2003 21:08

according to the 3am girls, he's got a little willy

The African Dude 22nd Aug 2003 21:14

the guy obviously is a prat (the singer) but that doesn't make me one too just because I am a similar age. sorry, but acmi shouldn't be referring to "young people" in this context. That's all I'm bothered about.

acmi
would I want this guy in front of me on me next flight? No and neither would I like to be thrown up on halfway through. But I didn't say anything about BA's decision. I only commented on your generalisation of "young people".

Obviously a misunderstanding or misread somewhere.

It seems this particular individual has today been banned from driving due to being twice the legal drink limit in his Porsche when he overtook and cut up a Police car.
Also, if he does drive whilst disqualified, he faces a jail term.
Aw, shame! :{

This is the same guy who thinks whales are more important than people...

This is the same guy who when the subject of the 9/11 attacks came up in a press interview said,

Who gives a f... about New York when elephants are being killed.
