Surely some mishtake??
 

G'day

I booked an incredible offer over the net last night......but I'm also fairly certain the fare I paid should have been higher.

'Twas on Swiss from LHR to EZE (B.Aires) via ZRH for next March/April. Came to a TOTAL of only 320 pounds! Direct through swiss.com

Not only this, but all sectors were confirmed in Business Class. :eek:

I had requested 'lowest available', in other words economy.

Even the confirmation email I received had all sectors confirmed in Business class...my Visa card being charged the grand total of 640 pounds (two of us travelling).

Obviously a mistake, right? They must have missed out a '0', but am I right in thinking the airline is now obliged to honour its mistake?

There have been a least a couple of instances where wrong fares have been up loaded on airline internet sites in the States. Although corrections were made pretty quickly, the fares were honoured for those who had booked before the fixes were entered.

Bargain!!

Well it is now over 40 hours since this mistake was first noticed and Swiss still haven't reacted! Know of at least 10 booked tickets including 3 by me/my family. :D

All good things come to an end....eventually!
 

Looks like they've noticed their little boo-boo :D

ECONOMY class fare to EZE ex-LHR now back to a respectable 531 pounds total, whilst Business Class sells at over 2,000...so slightly more expensive than 320 pounds.

For those still interested in flying down there for a cheap price, opodo are offering flights on Swiss (Y) for 465 total; unijet.com have a fare of about 474 total with Air France......pretty good deals, really.

The collapse of the Argentine economy might have something to do with it.
