Parking nose in at airports
Aircraft at airports almost always park nose-in at large airports. For something like an ATR 42/72 where passengers board from the rear, why does this happen, especially at quieter airports, where this would not conflict with other aircraft on the apron ? One presumably wants passengers near the terminal and not wandering around loose

Biggest hassle with nose out is blasting the windows etc with prop wash.
