LFD's in hand baggage

Anyone had any experience with airport security carrying Lateral Flow Test kits in hand baggage?

I'm heading to London and want to be prepared "just in case". The trip doesn't merit a hold bag.

As long as it looks like LFDs.. I've never had a problem. Box of 7 tests seems to be fine. The liquid content in LF tests is tiny.

I have had far more trouble with security getting upset over a small asthma inhaler or a bit of loose change in my hand luggage

Thanks for that. Particular as it is from personal experience. And yes my son's Asthma inhaler got the security people excited too....

I had thought of stripping out the liquid bits and putting them in a plastic bag along with the other liquids; I'd prefer not to but given the variable standards across different airports it might reduce any potential hassle.
