Airline booking site - UGH!!
Today succeeded finally in booking a flight to UK.
I have an apartment in Spain and will fly from Spain to the UK. I am dual nationality and "reside" in New Zealand. The website, Spanish language, offered had been very loosely translated into Spanish, even the name of the country was spellt incorrectly. Things went badly as I assumed that the question "country of residence" actually meant that. What it did mean is; where are you now ? Select baggage question only allowed hold baggage. Country of passport issue ? answered UK, but it is actually FCO issued, not in the list offered. I know that most airlines are low cost, but when they have a moment to spare they could try them out themselves. When I worked in IT, we used to say: Get your aged Granny to try out your screen, she will soon tell you what is wrong with it. Eventually switched to the UK website, written in pseudo English, but at least useable. Rant over, John |
I feel your pain because I went through something similar several years ago .... but FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) is definitely UK.
You don't say which airline ... |
