That's absolutely shocking - Southwest still flying 737-300s!

She should be arrested. Reclining her seat while aircraft still on the ground. Endangering every one else's safety.

Seat reclining should be disabled in aircraft with a seat pitch of less than 32" or if an IFE cabinet is installed under the seat.

It'd be up to the airline to decide whether pack 'em in, sell 'em cheap seat arrangements are worthwhile.

People don't seem to mind fixed seats on Ryanair or Germanwings, but passengers who recline their seats in cramped cabins are utterly selfish.

I believe that here in the U.S., Spirit and Alegiant Airlines also have fixed seats.

They refer to them as "Pre-Reclined".:\

As society further breaks down and people become more self centred than ever before I think fixed back seating is the future. Take a look at the new LH 747 economy class. It's still 32 inch pitch but the recline is horrifying for anyone behind. Their A330s were horrific but the new 747 cabin refurb is even worse. I believe BA have reclining seats on their A320 fleet with the new interior which is just madness.

I can't understand objections to reclining seats. Everyone (well, except the back rows) can do it and it provides a slightly more comfortable posture for a nap.
The only thing I'd suggest is to do it gently.
