TO BLR

FLy to Brussels on brussels airline, connect to 9W direct to BLR from there. Business class is good and service is good.

LH is also a decent option and have the new 787 on the FRA-BLR route.

Avoid EK if in Economy as it is cramped on the DXB-BLR leg.

If flying to Del I would try the new Dreamliner on the FRA-Del route. Air India by far has the most comfortable and spacious seats on any airline I have flown in economy class. Only if the rest of the service was upto the mark!

Thanks for all the advice folks. Ended up going with Emirates and have to say it was a pretty good experience all round. The 777ER from Manchester business class product is excellent. Great food and wine and ICE is excellent. The transit in Dubai with lounge access was more than bearable, my own minor gripe was the seats on the A330-200 from Dubai to Bangalore were a little disappointing compared to the 777ER. The recent tie up with easyjet is also good news as it enables lesser value Skywards miles to be redeemed.

Phil if you think the Business Class product ex MAN is good on the 777 try the mid day A380 flight it is even better. Just come back rom MAN-DXB-PVG-BJS-DXB-MAN on the big bird all the way (with the exception of PVG-BJS) and puts you off the 777 completely.

Thanks, I'm on the A380 for my next trip plus the 777 instead of A330 on the BLR leg so should be a nice journey hopefully.
