Dodgy Crosswind Landing

Those frightened of flying look away now. Actually it just looks like a bad landing and everybody disembarked normally but the fuselage has a nasty crease in it!

There is a well established thread running in Rumours & News, where the pros are examining this and the possible reasons for it happening.

Err -Umm- What? Did someone speak? Seriously I thought it would be more use in the Nervous Passengers Forum

Don't panic A2QFI, I could see you had your eye shades on and was listening to whale music on your Bose Noise cancelling headphones. :E

I think the rule of thumb is:
  • If it looks like a hard landing - but it isn't = in here (or Spotters) so that we can snicker and talk about worse landings wot we have known.
  • If it really WAS a hard landing and the a/c is damaged = in T&N and let the drivers snicker and talk about worse landings wot they have known.

My research suggests that this sort of damage is repaired and flies again, depending on the hull value I suppose.
