F-word
You now get thrown off planes for just saying the F-word.

There can't be many of us who haven't (possibly unwittingly) muttered an expletive in this situation... As reported, this seems a very strange action by the airline. If he were being loud, disruptive or swearing AT someone, then that would be entirely different, but if this happened as reported, I suggest the delicate flower who took offence might be more suited to working in, shall we say, a less customer-facing role.

As reported is just one side of the story. Your experience of life should be telling you that there is likely to be more to the incident than that.
I have removed people from the aircraft before now for using foul language, and I remain quite proud of doing so - Quite apart from the potential for further problems once airborne, I don't feel that I should have to listen to it and I don't feel that any of my crew should have to either. Most importantly of all, I don't see that all his fellow passengers sitting in the area around him, having paid for the experience should have to be subjected to that language - they too are customers, the difference being that they have chosen to behave like adults. What about swearing in a foreign language? I was told by a Finnish colleague that the name of a brand of mineral water available in Germany is actually pronounced the same as the Finnish slang for female genitalia.......One could imagine a poor foreigner unwittingly getting into all sorts of trouble...
