Smartwings

Just booked myself on Smartwings FCO-PRG-FCO this summer - at £94 it seemed to be the one to go for considering the only other direct option was £433 on CSA. A quick search on this and other sites only returns bad reports about the airline, long delays, cancellations, no info, etc... But all these comments seem to be from at least 2 or 3 years ago. Anybody know if Smartwings has cleaned up its act recently? Would it be advisable to get my taxes back and go indirect on LH for £162...?

Did you try AZA?
Same price level as LH and direct flight as Smartwing.

Wizzair also fly from Prague to Rome (CIA). They are an Eastern European Ryanair- no frills but cheap as chips. They operate a fleet of brand new Airbus a320's and are usually pretty punctual and reliable.

Thank you both for that. I tried AZ, but for the dates I'm travelling they only codeshare with OK operated flights according to their website, hence same price. (No Saturday night stay during my trip...) Wizzair didn't occur to me, will certainly check them out. Cheers.
