Northwest UK to Rimini or Bologna Italy
I am wanting to fly to Rimini or Bologna for a couple of days at the end of Nov going either Thurs 26th or Fri 27th and coming back Sunday evening.
I dont mind going from Manchester Leeds Liverpool Birmingham or East Mids. I would prefer Manchester if possible. Any suggestions please as to who fly's there would be most welcomed please. Rob |
The best way would be to look at the websites for Bologna and Rimini Airports (also check Forli Airport as it is between the two?), and there should be links to all airlines serving the airports, and from where they fly.

I saw NW UK in the title and thought, Ullapool, Stornaway...

As far as I know, there are no direct flights, with any airline, from the north-west of England to that part of Italy. But check out skyscanner.net and see what you can find.
Lufthansa will fly you from Manchester to Rimini on those dates, via Munich, for just over £300. Nice(ish) airline, reasonable flight times, and a very nice airport to change planes at. |
Don't think there are any direct flights.
You could easily go MAN-LGW-BLQ with BA You could also go via CDG (AF), FRA (LH), AMS (KL), CPH (SK) or Stansted (FR) A Quick search on Opodo gives the cheapest Alitalia MAN-CDG-BLQ £175, followed by British Airways MAN-LGW-BLQ at £190 Good Luck :ok: T'Bug |
If you can stretch to a train ride to Birmingham, FR do BHX - BLQ and it's an hour by train to Rimini.
Failing that you could go LPL to Treviso and get the train from Mestre to Rimini or Bologna. |
Go to
OnLine booking flights and hotels and then roll down to LIST OF ON-LINE SITES and then to 'whichbudget' Still works well. Made up this grab-bag of useful sites. For those occasions when the G-IV is in the hangar for a bit of spit and polish. |
