Delta 737-800 window
I've just booked a seat on Delta flight 735 JFK - SEA on a 737-800 and reserved seat 14F. Both SeatGuru and Seat Expert have conflicting information as to whether this seat actually has a window. Can anyone give me a clearer idea of whether this seat has a window or not?

on b738s A and F series are usually window..

I think the question is not about the seat letter, just about the specific row number.

I know what you mean IndAir 967. Depending on configuration, the B737 series generally have one windowless seat row. It varies according to the series. I'm not entirely sure where it might be on Delta's B738, but I don't think it would be as far back as row 14.

The numbering of the "wall" (window but no window) row depends on the cabin configuration and the airlines' numbering practice.
IME it's usually row 8 or 9 in a one-class cabin, for 2-class it could well be 14 if the airline leaves a numbering gap between J & Y. I would suggest calling the airline except that they probably don't know themselves :ugh: Try the Delta forum on flyertalk.com (hope that's not a "naughty" link). |
Looking at a photo of a Delta B738 and Delta's own seat plan, I would say that PaperTiger is right. It looks very much as row 14 (and 12 for that matter) don't look too good. You need rows 10, 11 or 15 upwards to be sure.

Not a naught link as both flyertalk.com and pprune.com are owned by Internet Brands! |
The non-window seats are always in the same place but seating layouts vary, so the row number is not always the same. But the seats would have to be very close together for you to get a wall seat as far back as row 14. On KL 738s the wall seats are 8A and 9F.

deltayankee, forget European airline configurations. DELTA AIR LINES have three 1st Class rows numbered 1 to 3. The first Economy row, immediately after row 3, is row 10. Consequently, in Delta's configuration, row 14 would roughly be equal to KLM's row 9. All you have to do is look at Delta's seat plan.
