Aer Lingus - Direct to Washington

Hi there,

Does anyone know if Aer Lingus are using their new A330s on this route?

Thanks,

Jules Meister

EI to IAD

The new 330's aren't dedicated to any one route. They get rotated throughout the network. However IAD seems to be a 330-200 destination for now so your chance of getting the newest 330-200 is 25%

And a very nice aircraft is DUZ. Went on it in Premier (hostie girlf) to New York last month. It was only out of the wrapper about 6 weeks. Had a looksie down the back and it is nice alright. DUO is the 330-200. So thats the same. Id say the chances are better than 25% as the MCO route is all Y class. Keep the best product for the business travellers.

Ei330-200

Granted they will try keep DUO for routes where there is proper C class offered, however there are still only 4 200's so your chances are still 25% on the IAD route. MCO still hasnt started remember, and when it does will only operate 3 or 4 times a week so there will be days when all 4 200s are on the other routes, so overall your chances still come in at 25 %
