Virgin Atlantic LHR-MIA
Hi,
I've just booked flights with Virgin Atlantic travelling London/Heathrow to Miami in late June and returning from Miami to London/Heathrow in early July. The seat plan seems to suggest I will be flying an A340-300. Would anyone be able to clarify this for me please? Does the A343 always operate this route? Many thanks :) |
Re: Virgin Atlantic LHR-MIA
The aircraft type on the MIA route alters on a fairly regular basis.
It is possible that the A340-300 planned for your flights may change nearer the time. |
Re: Virgin Atlantic LHR-MIA
The MIA route tends to alternate between an A343 and A346 depending on the day of the week.
Usually Mon-Weds is and A343, and Thurs-Sun is A346. :) |
Re: Virgin Atlantic LHR-MIA
Can anyone clarify what seat pitch Virgin have in economy? I have seen various websites stating its either 30", 31" or 32" It doesn't seem to say on the VS website either.
Thanks |
Re: Virgin Atlantic LHR-MIA
The Virgin Holidays Florida brochure quotes 32" seat pitching in economy.

Re: Virgin Atlantic LHR-MIA
It varies between 31-32 depending on which seats in the cabin you get. The seats in the middle section on the A346 have more leg room than the seats on the window side.
