Egyptair..any good?
 

I've just booked a holiday to Egypt in May. Due to fly on Egyptair B777s; has anyone flown with them? What is the service like? What sort of IFE is fitted on B777? Their website seems very basic and lacking info.

We flew to Luxor with Egyptair a few years back. It was an OK flight, except that it was dry :(

Landing back at Heathrow was a bit interesting as we landed deep. Lots of reverse thrust, brakes, chains & anchors, back pedalling etc. We ended up in a part of the airfield neither I nor the crew had ever seen before but Ground Movements took pity on us & sent a Landrover to guide us back.

So, IMHO, they are are an average airline. I'd use them again.
