MAN to LPL via Public transport?

Hi All,

Got a forthcoming early morning flight out of Liverpool with Easyjet (as a passenger!). Can any kind soul please enlighten me as to how I get to Liverpool early in the morning via public transport from Rochdale (or failing that Manchester)?

Thanks in advance.....

Hunts Cross
Airlink bus service No. 81A links the airport with nearby Hunts Cross Rail Station and operates every 30 minutes. Hunts Cross is on the Merseyrail Northern Line serving regular trains to/from Southport, Liverpool and local stations.Hunts Cross also serves trains to/from Warrington and Manchester.

Only ever been once, but thats how i got there from Picadilly in Manchester.

Not sure what time the early trains are so might be worth calling here: For all Rail Enquiries: 08457 48 49 50 (24 hrs)

Easy used to put on a bus from Manchester at the following times - Mon-Fri: 0645, 0900, 1430, 1600, 1630, 1900.

Has this now been terminated? No reference of it on the LPL or EZ website.
