I couldn't help but notice the last line of the article

"She had to wait two hours for another plane to be LAID on, but still made her date"

The upper case was my emphasis. Perhaps that euphemism doesn't translate well to your side but it has a really specific meaning over here!

Hopefully her Date didn't mind she got LAID on her next flight.:E
