Emirates Skywards

Hi. Looking to book flights for next year with EK. We are 2 adults and 2 children with Skywards miles each but the miles aren't all together in the 'Family ' package. Does anybody know if we can combine these miles towards the cost of the flights (BHX to MEL). The website doesn't really give any info about this only using Family miles. I have set up a Family account now but there doesn't appear to be an option to move accrued miles into it (only future ones seem to go in there). We can't book as single bookings as the kids are only 7 and 10. Doing a dummy booking online doesn't appear to give an option to use the miles for each person but I may be wrong
