Electric Razor cabin baggage through Airport

Can a person bring an electric razor as part of the carry-on luggage through the airport ? I dont want to get stopped at security and have them confiscate the thing.

Cheers

If you can carry a normal razor (wet shave) through airport security then an electric is fine. Remember the eye is off the ball! They only care for your liquids!

An electric razor is fine as cabin baggage. It's just the manual ones with the blade's you cant take with you!

Hope this helps.

I had been wondering about razor blades as I have inadvetantly carried them in hand luggage, but I checked and Boots do sell them after security so they must be OK

They'll also sell you a 1 litre bottle of water.
But then again that is deemed safe water as it has been through a rigorous security check. Maybe the razor blades have had the sharp edge removed.

Logic plays no part in this.

Misunderstanding

I once went to Sydney Airport and was asked at immigration "Do you have an electronic razor". No say I.
"Well how do you think you are going to enter the country without an electronic razor?"
Baffled I wondered why nobody had told me about this.
Suddenly it dawned on me, she was asking "Do you have an electronic Visa"
"Yes, yes.......
