Air China - what's it like?
Hi Folks. Me and Mrs Willy have recently booked a holiday to China in September whcih we are very much looking forward to.
We are flying out economy class with Air China. Does anyone have any experience with this airline, such as the service and standards?
As a national carrier, would it be similar to BA in terms of seat pitch, complimentary beverages (alcohol?!) etc?
Appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

It's been a while since I flew with them from LHR to PEK in economy but I must say I enjoyed the experience.
Seat pitch was fine, 34" better than most airlines and as I had a row of 3 seats to myself going and a row of 4 coming back I was as happy as a pig in
There wasn't any personal IFE then, only a large screen and monitors showing Chinese films although the food and drink were both fine. The FA's were very young as well as all being female.
Just don't expect them to be like BA and you won't be disappointed.
Enjoy China I've been four times and still want to go back

"The FA's were very young as well as all being female."
"Just don't expect them to be like BA and you won't be disappointed."
Couldn't help but notice these two sentences next to each other.
I am sure it wasn't intended literally, but it made me laugh
