MEA's A330's and AF's 777's

Fellow PPRuNers, I've just blown 60,000 of my hard earned Flying Blue points on a business class flight from Manchester to Beirut via Paris. The CDG-BEY leg is an AF codeshare with MEA on an A330, back is AF proper on a 777.

I've flown economy with MEA and was very impressed. Anyone been in business on their A330's? Is there a good seat I should try to bag? Similarly in the 777 on the way back, is there a good spot from which to quaff the frenchies' champers?

If I recall correctly the MEA business class (Front Class) is split into two cabins. I would suggest the forward cabin which I think is rows 1 - 4 and avoid row 4 if poss as last row against wall.

Interestingly, seat guru also advises the very front row seats of business in the AF 777 as they have extra legroom and the first of the two business cabins is more 'intimate'.

That could be my mantra - front row is the way to go....

Cheers guys
