I've just read the piece in the link and was intrigued, who are Kevin and Clive?

Possibly because Clive is a noted winner when it comes to suing people. Say something derogatory about Clive, and you will be on the receiving end of a defamation/slander summons from him, in quick smart time.
He claims to have taken on 68 court cases - and won every one of them.
Remember, anything you put up on a public forum that can be construed as being even remotely slanderous, will see you end up in court on the receiving end of a defamation claim, if the person is offended enough, and has deep enough pockets.
I guess you need no reminding of how deep Clives pockets are.
