CPL (A) Echo Charts
G'day guys im up to my last CPL exam Planning and performance, im having a little trouble with the echo weight and balance charts, is there a mathmatical way or some rules that may help with these caculations.
thanks for the help. :ok: |
Get a hold of Bob Tait's CPL performance book :ok:
|
Grab Bob Tait's book, look at his pretty little flow charts, and pull the formulas out of them. Knowing the formula is easier than trying to use the same chart but with different entries in them. :ok:
|
I used Bob's texts without any problem, you only need the echo charts for Fwd CoG problems.Bob's flow charts and "beatle" diagram are a god-send! :thumb:

We had a discussion thread going some time ago on this .. please do post specific questions and we can continue the original thread ....
Might even (a) force me to finish the notes I started writing in the earlier thread (b) sort out why the graphics hyperlinks do strange things (c) end up with the makings of a set of W&B notes for the exam to which any of you good folk can refer in addition to whichever course notes you are using ... Ah, takes me back to the 70s when I was teaching all this sort of stuff to keen would be pilots ... many of whom are now flying around in senior flying roles.... |
