Tips&Advice for newbie

Hello everyone

I am currently planning to do MEIR with well known flying
school.
Whilist I am on holiday at AA. Would that be a good idea to drive and visit operators near AA for the job possibility after graduation?

I know it's very unusual that opearators around AA would hire a fresh CPL
with 250 hrs. But I actually don't mind doing some ramp or ops work for
few months if they give me chance to work as a pilot after that.

I initially thought it's impossible to get any job in NZ but one of the girl in my class managed to get interview with operator after she finishes her MEIR. :D

My question is what/where is the operators around AA that I don't know.
I know GBA ,mountain Air, Air work. Is there any parachute operator at AA?

What will be the best way to approach to an operator and talk your way through it. Would they normally dont bother to talk to you at all ? I heard having good attitude is a good way but is that mean just talk clear with confidence and show your willingness to get the job?

Any recommendation or advice is highly appreciated.
thank you.

It would be unusual to do a MEIR before you hold a pilot's licence!

If you already hold other than a Student Pilot's Licence - that should qualify you to call yourself a pilot rather than a student pilot!

Student pilot
Private (Recreational?) pilot
Commercial pilot
Airline transport pilot
