transfering logged flight time??
How diffacult is it to transfer aussie flight time to U.S.???
|
Not sure if I understand your question.
Are you asking if FAA accepts the flight time logged in Australia? |
That's correct!
|
Flight time is flight time. There is no need to transfer flight time undertaken in one country, to flight time in another. You DO need to transfer your license though.
|
So what you're saying is basically that a U.S. carrier will recognize time in oz?

Why the hell wouldn't they recognize it? Hours are hours...
Unless in USA they count the time (Hours are minutes??) differently otherwise they're the same. Like aerocat said, all you need to do is get back to the FAA standards and the hours are ok. Don't think it's easy to find a job in Australia though, you will need to work extremely hard! Good Luck :ok: |
What's with the 'why the hell...' QF747-400??
Coming from the bloke who has the w*nkiest name on this board and asks the stupidest questions to boot e.g. Hi, Does anyone have any idea how long it'll take to earn enough hours to apply for the airlines in Australia? Which way to do it, what job, where and so on. Cheers... Before roasting someone else for asking a question take a look at yourself... |
alpar80,
