another beaver bites the dust

The water on Hamilton Island must be must have more gravity than anywhere else because floatplanes just seem to be sinking and swimming all the time. Good to see the pilot is fit and healthy but a bit of bad luck though.

The thread title is a little confusing. I presume you are talking about the DHC Beaver - and not a small hairy thing? :O

Maybe the guy's up in Hamo should hire "real' beaver drivers.....oops that means they would have to pay more bucks:eek:

chimbu warrior...
Spent time in both....loved both...
a couple of differences are
Both noisy but one makes you money the other takes your money!!!
One is stickly Day VFR, the other....well depends on how ugly it is!!
:O :p

On a serious note:
What happened????

chimbu warrior You'd know. But one would definately be an IFR approach in a Chimbu, whilst the other definately VFR into Kundiawa!
