Anyone know what this was?

Heard an aircraft yesterday (9/2/) using the callsign "Mojo". It landed at Alice Springs (I think) then on departure reporting points were Idanu, LEC then NYA. Seemed to be small & moving very fast. Was it some sort of military hardware heading to Avalon, perhaps?

Mojo

From memory this callsign was used by the US Marines in Eagles (F15). Last heard it during one of the excercises (Pitch Black???)
Could be the same crew, as you said, in transit to Avalon.

Pharcarnell,

the US Air Force fly F15's, the US Marines fly Hornets and Harriers

Anyone know what was using "Blue" as its callsign??

 ;)

Blue2 and Blue12 were 2 K35Rs from Diego Garcia to Darwin. Probably going to refuel our F18s on there way out.

Mojo is a US Marines callsign for their Learjets. Pretty frequent to see them in Darwin etc. Possibly for Avalon this time?

Yeah, Baby!

I just pictured Austin's psychadelic B747 coming in to land at Alice....

NAAAAAH........
