Last week after reviewing available capacity, QF and CX were given 96% of available capacity to Hong Kong. It was pointed out that neither Virgin or Dragon could make a viable service out of the remaining 4%. The rights are normally issued for 5 years. Virgin were successful in having this reduced to 3 years indicating that they will not be operating this service for at least 3 years.
