PNG Government B350 return to service after 5 years at Cairns

P2-PNG is currently being prepped for return to service. Last flew in Sept 2017.
Transferred from Dept. of Prime Minister to CASA PNG; someone found some money!

It isn’t going anywhere in a hurry, same as P2-EUV.

All they need to do is pull a few panels of the fence and tow it about 200 meters down the road to Aviation Australia. It would be a good avionics trainer for the apprentices as it’s now got a full Garmin glass cockpit that was only installed about 12 years ago. Doubt it’s flown many hours since the upgrade. I done a couple of hours in it when I was with CASA PNG doing IR renewals. It was a good machine back in 2011, certainly had all the bells and whistles for a King Air.

The B350 (P2-PNG) has undergone a magnificent restoration, engine and props to go back on shortly. New boots etc
World class rebuild.

P2-EUV has been moved from 10 years in open to front of Jet Aviation (Hawkers) hangar. Possibly to get same treatment. The owner has a new overhauled engine in sealed storage at Jet Aviation.
