If others are seeing an advertisement coming up on this site for a system that claims to increase motor vehicle fuel efficiency - it is clearly a con- just like the digital currency ads!

Don't send any money or give any credit card details!

It’s the targeted advertising from your cookies and location Dick. I’m getting adverts at the moment for the Sale airshow as I am in Sale right now. When I’m back in Melbourne, I’ll get your face popping up as an ambassador for digital currency or whatever the flavour of the month for scammers.

Don’t pour coke a cola into the fuel tank.

Don’t squeeze toothpaste into the fuel tank.

Don’t spray any kind of lubricant into the fuel tank.

Just drive less.

Or buy an electric car.

While websites serve ads such as these I'll continue using an ad blocker. If they go bust then so be it. They need to take responsibility for the crap that is served up as they're the ones using advertising services not us.

I follow the old advice for toilet cisterns, and put a brick in my fuel tank. Works a treat - it's much cheaper to fill the tank now.

So many SCAM adverts - I have tirelessly complained to the site publishers about the repetitious SCAM Bitcoin adverts........

If the advert Dick is seeing that purports to reduce a car's fuel consumption by 15% to 30% is the "Ecodrive" or the even more fabulous (but identical) "Ecobox" claiming fuel savings of 35% to 40%, read this review before you lash out and buy:

I'm gunna buy an electric car. When every last drop of fossil fuel is burnt, it's electric car time. But not before. I find electric cars too damaging to the environment, battery construction and disposal alone is horrendous. Thank god for the oil industry, just think, no phones to post my critical, crucial social justice posts to twitter. We'd have nothing if it wasn't for the oil industry, thank you oil industry.

They also block some wanted content, some websites refuse access if you have an ad blocker enabled.

You would have to be a bit of a d!p**** to fall for some of those ads right?

Whenever I follow a link and the destination doesn't allow me in because I have an adblocker, I just go back out. Easy. No ads.

I totally agree. It’s obvious that the only one that will do any good for car mileage is a dishwasher tablet in the tank.
