Rheumatologist in Australia

Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend a rheumatologist in Australia that has experience dealing with CASA?

Cheers

No , but dealing with CASA is becoming extremely difficult. I have had multiple specialist letters sent to CASA , yet they will not respond and have heavily restricted my licence . My only hope is a court battle which is impossible as not working at the moment .
There is certainly some bad apples in CASA medical .

Ask your DAME or just ring around a few well known ones. Best thing is to get the specialist requirement list from AvMed so from day one your doctor knows what reports they are looking for. AvMed just tend to put out a dot point list of what they want to see, leave it up to your doctors to fill in the blanks, at your cost. I'm about to switch one of my specialists, they are good, but their company takes 2 months to write a report.

PS If you haven't been speaking to AvMed about your condition then depending on what it is they could ground you, but if that's the case its probably better you get it over and done with and deal with the situation rather than it come up in a situation not of your choosing.

Topperharley, I sent you a PM with someone I know. No idea if he's had anything to do with CASA.
