Accident Kooweerup
Radio news reports a fatal accident at Kooweerup today, April 4. The report has a helmet striking the prop and the aircraft then crashing. One dead.

At Aardel Port (Koo Wee Rup) airfield they often have get-togethers on long weekends with those little trikes that literally fold up into a suitcase. They look like fun and are great on a nice still morning.

A later news item (Perth) reported that the helmet was not done up, it flew off in slipstream, hit the pusher prop, which disintegrated and took out adjacent wing, causing........
I guess he won't be doing it again. Sad if true. |
So a newsreader saying "it is believed" suddenly becomes evidence? So a "Rumour Network" has suddenly become a courtroom? |

Perhaps it didn’t help that he wasn’t the owner
of the aircraft and may have not been fully familiar with the equipment being used. |
Very tragic-( the risks of flying are always there especially in these types of contraptions. RIP.
