Bee Gees @ Essendon

Any of the older lads recognise the aircraft from this?

Lead Balloon 27th Oct 2020 10:33

Wrong state.

Try YSBK and YHOX.

C206, C337, C172 and C152. Weren't any Cessna hangars at Hoxton Park that I can remember.

Lead Balloon 27th Oct 2020 19:19

True. That Cessna hangar was as YSBK.

And the late 70’s before the C152 appeared! :ok:

REX Aviation hangar at Bankstown?

Can't trace a Cessna 206 registered VH-REX but I suspect it was a Rex demonstrator that got sold off.

I couldn't help but read the title as 'Gee Bees @ Essendon'. Vale Greg :(

I think it's VH-RXG, the tower cleared RXG for take off and the colour scheme matches.
RXG became SIB:

You're right. Just checked No 1 logbook. Change that to C150.
