Contact details - airstrip at Marulan

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has contact details for the airstrip a couple of km west of Marulan (southern highlands NSW). It's not shown on the VTC/VNC but is clearly visible on satelite and runs right along the Hume Highway into Marulan - apparently the owner has a sense of humour as there is an aircraft tail stuck in the ground at one end and other part of an aircraft acts as the windsock.

Got a job to do just near there - will save me 3 hours in the car...

Thanks
UTR

Hi. Contact Derek at Delta Aviation at Camden.

SixMaps says the property is 16038 Hume Highway Marulan. If you Google that you will find a Mr John Dugan resides there and has a Mustang II registered to that address (FWP).

I couldn't track down a phone number, but that's a starting point.

EDIT: And if that isn't a reason to hide the details from the public on the CASA register, I dunno what is. From such a simple question you now know who lives there, his families names courtesy of this document and the fact that he is 'rich enough' to own not one but two airplanes courtesy of CASA's own website

Probably not his first Mustang either!

KRviator,
In Jan 2016, a Brumby flown by a man from Robertson pranged at the same strip during take off. Fortunately, he was uninjured but the aircraft was destroyed.
His privacy is protected by the aircraft having been RAAUS registered..

You’re making some pretty big assumptions buddy. That was not his aircraft, he and his family are some of the most competent aviators I’ve encountered.
There have been two incidents at the field identified in this thread by pilots other than the owners, unlikely they’d grant permission for anyone Unknown to them to operate there.
