Flightless Chickens Class Action

The (flightless) chickens are coming home to roost. My guess would be that sueing Soar Aviation would be a waste of time.

Students at the Box Hill Institute's aviation course, including one who was almost killed in a crash, have slapped the TAFE with a class action lawsuit.

Gordon Legal is representing almost 200 students in a case that alleges the teaching standards were so low that many of the students did not meet Civil Aviation Safety Authority requirements to obtain a commercial pilots licence.

Phew, Sunfish has managed to dredge up another post. More opinions offered which no doubt will prove to be baseless; remember Sunfish advising us to trust him/her that the Victorian’s would be moving to level 4 restrictions about 2 months ago?

More info about the class action here: https://gordonlegal.com.au/services/...-class-action/

Class actions are not inexpensive to conduct; generally the lawyers will not commence a class action unless they see a payback.

Sunfish might not be the best source around, but all you've accomplished here is making yourself look like a fool. This isn't just some suggestion it might happen, this is an actual Class Action Lawsuit that has currently been commenced as mentioned, they generally succeed, around 60%. Soar should be very worried, Gordon Legal are not some small group of ambulance chasers either.

I don't like to see any Aviation Business fail usually, but Soar Aviation have shown themselves to be way less than above board and I don't think they deserve to keep operating at this point without serious changes.

Boo hoo, I’ve made myself look like a fool hey? Perhaps you should read Sunfish’ post before you respond.

I have and as I said, he isn't always the best source but you've just made yourself look as foolish basically. Take it or don't.

I put the links in the actual thread from a while back so this thread can go the way of the Dodo bird where it truly belongs.

I don’t. And to save you repeating yourself, I’m ok if you think I’ve made a fool of myself; I can see you don’t get it.
