Simple. Trust is earned when your message resonates with people. DS - still remembered for the positive influence and waving the Australian flag, Twiggy - took a departure from the rest of the mining magnates and put his money where it counts on so many other levels. Same reason Bill Gates now commands so much respect.

Re Forrest, that's a matter of opinion. |

The poll was probably public and the respondent demographic? who knows... but one needs to note that these polls ARE just opinion, and perhaps broad sector sampling, which would indicate that all these guys are doing something that makes them APPEAR trustworthy. Undoubtedly there are many with quite the opposite experience of them.

And the same poll also has the 4 highest for DISTRUST as being Rupert Murdoch, Clive Palmer, Gina Rinehart and Gerry Harvey.
It seems some are better at self PR than others, and others might just be genuinely in the category they arrived at! |
Thanks for putting that up, Thorn Bird.
We all need a bit of a laugh at present. |
