Carriage of firearms

Is the carriage of firearms as in part 91.C.3 enacted into law yet or does the sec 143 still apply.

turn up with the guns - I'm sure they'll tell you soon enough..................

C3 or C7? Looks like it's in force based on the website... but hard to tell exactly as most of the other references to it have "draft" written all over them.

So if I am operator and pilot, I can give myself permission to carry an arsenal?

kaz3g 20th Jul 2019 23:29

Not until 2021 (Part 91) and only if you aren’t engaged in airwork (Part 138) unless you have a permit under s143.

Like the rules on dogs, this would come as a surprise to most pastoralists operating own aircraft.

.....probably play hell with the W&B and the mag compass

Thank you all for your comments. It is certainly a dog's breakfast of regulatory legalese
