ATPL Perf. APLA Calculate Air dist Y-TOD for B727 pg 3-2
Hi all, can someone please confirm they way the calculation is done for the following from page 3- 2 of the CASA B727 Performance and Operating Handbook.
In example 2 it states: Given: TOD GW: 62750 kg Flight Level: FL290 Temp: ISA Cruise Schedule .82 M Wind component: -40 kt Segments: Y-TOD: 204 nam X-Y: 342 nam Enter Table FL290/.82M curis ISA with GW 62750 kg Extract Cruise distance from Wt of 62800 kg: 870 nam Calculate Air distance Y-TOD - Add : +222 nam = 1092 nam How are they getting the +222 nam? It is possible you could show working ta. |
