AFAP Jobs Page + Outstanding IR issues

So I noticed a somewhat loathed Melbourne training operator is advertising both for Grade 2 & 3 Flight Instructors on AFAP Jobs Page, in addition to what seems to be a paid advertisement for their "Industry-leading Flight Instructor Rating Course with guaranteed Job Placement." The two appeared next to each other when I looked today.

The same training operator was listed in Air Pilot Magazine (AFAP's industry magazine) recently as having several AFAP members who were pursuing action over "multiple breachers of the Award and Fair Work Act involving issues such as underpayment, training bonds and sham contracting."

Anyone reckon AFAP has an obligation not to advertise for employers that it has first hand knowledge are brazenly flouting the minimum conditions?

Innocent until proven guilty unfortunately.

I actually asked the AFAP this direct question once over the phone.

Why do you advertise for companies who blatantly don't follow the award, and who do nothing but delay EBA negotiations?

"The AFAP job website is a community service" I was told.

Fantastic AFAP. Support the companies who rip off the employees who pay your membership fees.

Couldn't have cancelled my membership any quicker! Useless.

Soar Aviation (Neel Kokhani) is definitely not innocent. He is bent as a banana and guilty as sin.

Membership is a waste of 1% of your salary

Wasn’t it posted on here before that he is no longer involved / and or running it?

Its an old selling scheme of alluding of a job when you finish your training.
The problem is, most of those who take up the offer are not really interested
in instructing and move on leaving the school crying over a lack of loyalty
that never existed.

When a school has to advertise an instructor rating course
its an admission that the bush telegraph is not enough
which speaks volumes.
