Someone's put the tower frequency comms with the pilot up onto Youtube. Check the notes to see a log of transmission times.

I used to teach students to switch the radio off if ATC kept hounding them during an emergency. You're dealing with an emergency, fly the aeroplane. The controller is just doing what is required of him, but a guy on the other end of the radio can't help you.

Good point WizofOz but I was probably looking for some advice or comfort. The first and hopefully the last time in this sort of situation. Like I said it all happens very quickly when only 500-700 feet off the ground. |
