Vale John Weekes

Just heard the news of the passing of Captain John Weekes. One of the good guys. TAA Cadet Course Number 1, 1967 then via DC3s, then F27s, J31, DC9s, 737, then Asiana, Lauda and ended on the 777 with Singapore.

RIP John

Bugger. I flew with him once when I was teaching his son David to fly. He told me a story that I still use today about the dangers of carry on baggage that isn’t weighed.

RIP John
