RAA Agricultural Aircraft

So the RAA are now registering rag and tube 'crop dusters' ??
May be journalism at it's usual 'best'.

Maybe they meant "agricultural" in the other sense.

"The owner built the aircraft very quickly in his home shed. It was quite agricultural."

Based on the pic, it looks like it could have been a lot worse for him.

I agree with the comment re Ag aircraft, but a Sonex is hardly rag and tube ... :)

Quite a few rural properties using RA aircraft for stock spotting, windmill runs, etc. Savannah’s, Foxbats, Lightning’s are examples. Low stall and minimal runway needs are real advantages as is the use of Mogas and fuel economy.

they don’t need to carry a tone of super to be “agricultural”.
