With the ever increasing complexities of Part 61,there will be many instructors who would identify with Richard Collins sentiments

They're not intentionally causing problems; nor are they being unpleasant.

...they're just writing rules that are crushing small business.

For example, how can a small business afford to hire a Safety Manager that is not the CEO and Chief Pilot? (Or Chief Eng in the case of Maintenance?)

...one with all the requisite aviation experience and tertiary qualifications to be approved by CASA?

How can a small business afford to maintain Professional Indemnity insurance for 7 years so we can cover our Flight Examiner tests after we have retired?

Leafy..you ARE smoking something...!

In anybody's book , rules that crush/ fcuk small business is 'causing problems and being unpleasant'.

Not that long ago the Government (s) (of which CAsA takes no notice) put out the Ten Commandments..points re new regs, being with the aim of cutting back the costs , easing the burdens, less regs, less paperwork and etc.
All the usual motherhood crap...that is ignored by all.

Hullo Malcolm ?? Whatever happened to 'Jobs and Growth'

CAsA being its own Soviet with its own 'laws' and methods to make life difficult, just carries on its merry industry buggering ways.

I rest my case.
