I did find for a low hour student that landing with a slight tailwind was conducive to bouncy landings.

Also I never understood why so many instructors insist you fly those things at 70kts to an inch of the landing surface. I discovered through experimenting on my own that initiating a slow constant rate flare from nice and high meant I get to wash off all that speed and land on the fatter oleos rather smoothly and easily.

Commonly known in the industry as "parachuting" it on:ok: P.S. Don't try that in a big jet lest you put the oleos through the wing:sad:
