Maccas Home Delivery - by Chopper..?

Just reported on Perth Radio 6PR, (3pm Monday 15th) an item about a helicopter pilot landing in a park in an area 'just north' of Sydney, next to the local Maccas, picked up his order and took off - presumably to deliver the goods.

CASA spokesperson then came on and said that the footage will be looked at with the view of making sure that all appropriate rooles were complied with....
My paraphrasing....

Ya want 'flies' with that?

Cheers :ok:

Yep, I trust they looked closely at the Kj content of the purchase and that it met the Good Food guide for salt, fat and sugar content. Wouldn't want the chopper driver eating unhealthy amounts of the worst types of takeaway!
That could directly lead to a health situation impacting adversely on the ability of the driver to respond appropriately to emergency situations!

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the actual Pilot in command of the chopper as he left the Engine running whilst inside and then went back to the left seat. Most PIC sit in the right seat.

Beat up

Bronwyn Bishop getting hungry on the trip home?

Rouse Hill....apparently......

And, Yep...It seems the passenger may have been the 'pickup guy'.

Cheers...:p

What's the big deal here? On exercise during the early '70's in Rocky area one of the Army Bell 47's detached to pick up the Colonel's dry cleaning in town parked on a vacant block downtown. Pilot Steve O. leaves her running departs the helo to retrieve the dry cleaning and grabs a burger and back to the still running chopper and back to the exercise area...no harm done but a headline in the local news.

Yeah, cause Heli Pilots never leave it running and hop out to stretch the legs, haha

The future

Give it time, the way the judicial system is, there will be a litigation for not providing a drive thru for rotary wing
