Uluru touch & go.

I recently came across an independant news article stating that a drunken pilot carried out a touch and go on the top of Uluru and was being charged with a number of offences. Any truth to any of it?

This was covered on PPRune over a year ago. It's a hoax. The Betoota Avocate is run by two blokes purely for hoaxes. There was a story about them on ABC TV last week.

That!!!!/above, I would have thought- may have been the best 'one' could hope for, when the show/pub was on- Simon ...., did demonstrate that he was maybe not that accomodating............. under situations involving money or civil conduct of 'oneself'....., I believe.

Hoax or not, at least the description of the Saratoga (6 seats, single engine) and matching photo were more accurate than main stream media reports

You would only want to bounce and then stay airborne. It ain't flat on top and there are numerous deep fissures.
