Go air have a $220/h Dry Duchess available (Calculated it at about $380 Wet a few years ago). Its about the price of a C182, so decent value:

Goair Products Pty. Ltd.

Though, i'd go for a real light-twin; Airborne Aviation (Camden) have a sub $500 Seneca available (And a C310 for some real nice flying):

Aircraft Hire - Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Pitts and more - Sydney, Australia

Yeah gave go air a call they have them permanently hired out to pacific flight services
Cheapest one I've found so far is a twin Comanche but it's only vfr at 190 an hour dry
Any other ideas?

Go-Air sold their Duchess last year, unless they have rebuilt another one.

Sydney Flying College might be your next best bet. They had 2 or 3 duchess' on hand (Did some hours in NDH a while back, nice aircraft). Get a membership if you're planning on doing 30 hours...

I sent you a PM, but we have a 310 that is available private hire to the right kind of person.
