Helicopter lands, plane overturned.

Plane flips at Ballarat airport | The Courier

"The spokesman said a helicopter had landed at the time plane flipped but said investigators were determining whether that was the cause of the incident."

Was the weather that bad there today that the wind could have overturned the plane without the help of the chopper?

I've seen a Traumahawk all-but flying against its tie-downs in Toowoomba when the Qld Rescue B412 flared 20m in front of it, many years ago.

Rumour was a Blackhawk contributed to this Cirrus crash, but I don't know the final outcome as to whether it did or not.

Question:
Is there a minimum distance, from fixed wing aircraft, to be observed when landing a helicopter?

How do you know when there's a helicopter pilot is at a party?
He will tell you.

That said, most rotary wing pilots I have met have been more into their flying and better operators than their fixed wing counterparts. This guy blew it a bit, literally even. But the plane was derelict (according to the report) and obviously not tied down that well. Another hulk gone perhaps? At least the helo is ok.
