AVGAS in Blackall YBCK

Not in the ERSA but a credit card pump for Avgas and JetA has been installed and the price is not too bad compared to the coast! :ok:

Should be more of it! :D

BEACH KING 12th Jul 2015 09:07

Same setup is going to happen in Windorah soon, I have been reliably informed. Hope you and Mrs Jabba enjoyed the weekend!

185skywagon 12th Jul 2015 09:35

Already in ywdh

Jabawocky 12th Jul 2015 21:48

Didn't take long for the locals to surface :ok:

tail wheel 12th Jul 2015 23:04

I heard Bub Ploger has moved?

185skywagon 13th Jul 2015 01:45

Bub is in TWB, Tailly. Replaced by a credit card machine and isotainer type bowser.

Avgas172 13th Jul 2015 02:25

Will check it out this weekend, going for a $300 burger at Barky :ok:

Jabawocky 13th Jul 2015 06:19

Short trip from Emerald? :} (if its only $300)

Avgas172 13th Jul 2015 06:50

It's only $300 when you own the plane, the rest is hidden from the wife :E

172R 13th Jul 2015 08:00

Long way to Barcy from emerald via Blackall! And... I wish I could hide the "real cost" from my wife!

BEACH KING 13th Jul 2015 09:54

I bet that credit card machine doesn't swear as good as Bub does.

Avgas172 13th Jul 2015 09:54

Here's the published figures (for an owner)
213 nm: LRE-ISF-BCK-BAR-LRE

Burger and chips at Barky (priceless)
as previously stated these are the disclosed figures. :}

Pinky the pilot 13th Jul 2015 09:57

So the old saying I used to hear from the Queenslanders on the Seismic Crew years ago

`There`s feckall in Blackall`

is no longer applicable?:}:E

Good to read of the new installation considering the number of Airports where the Fuel companies have pulled out over the last few years.

Both you blokes need to find a new wife, or wait until you find the right woman to be your wife. I don't get any grief from mine for the money I spend on aviation. And I don't give her any grief for the money she spends on flying........hint.

no_one 14th Jul 2015 10:24

If you go looking for a new wife check out this first:

Jabawocky 14th Jul 2015 13:12

No One,

That video is GOLD.It is actually a presentation from "the name is porter" just in case you are wondering.

Avgas 172…..you must be fibbing :}

megle2 15th Jul 2015 01:48

Brilliant thread drift
Who would of thought from a new fuel bowser at Blackall we could arrive at such a valuable, easy to understand wife presentation. Can this guy explain second and third segment climbs in a PA30, say out of Armidale last Monday in the crap weather

Jabawocky 15th Jul 2015 03:16

I think it would be described as …don't fly, stay warm in bed with the 9-Hot/6-Crazy :}

megle2 15th Jul 2015 03:26

yes agree but I stumbled over the flight on Flightaware
maybe it was blue sky and the snow fell later

Dora-9 15th Jul 2015 05:34

No one - an absolute gem. The frightening part is that it's so true!

jas24zzk 15th Jul 2015 14:02

WIFE

Washing, Ironing, Food, Entertainment

Bugger that, the old rule of if it, Floats, Flies or ****s, rent don't buy!

At least you know what its gunna cost up front, and the 'happy ending' is guaranteed!

:}:}:}:}

Anyone wanna buy my boat?

gerry111 15th Jul 2015 14:08

Goodness!

Obviously there's still some social dinosaurs within the G.A. community..

(I've clearly taken the wrong humour pill tonight.)

But is this stuff really that funny for our well respected women pilots?

If you're out there somewhere, Kaz3g. Your thoughts, please?

The name is Porter 15th Jul 2015 22:24

Yes..........you've definitely missed the humour pill, maybe even the gene itself. If you think our female pilots don't talk about us in the same vein you're maybe even a little deluded as well. ;)

jas24zzk 16th Jul 2015 11:20

Humour pills.

sorry, I mis-read the label...i thought it said 1 per day, meaning the whole bottle. :eek:

We are that sensitive, that a joke older than the Ark cannot be told in the humour intended, without the whole world thinking we are trying to offend someone?

Really? Seriously? Bugger, must be time to learn which direction Mecca is at.

Calling Kaz3g for support? you're more likely to get a joke aimed at men as a response. :ok:

And if she doesn't do that, and has genuinely taken offence, then I am damm sure she will call me direct...she has my number!

The whole world has gone nuts....you can't laugh at a joke as a joke.....very sad for you.

....end rant

back on topic, nothing to see here

Ultralights 16th Jul 2015 11:48

good wives are out there! just have to keep looking..

the only argument i have with her is who is flying in command today..:ok:

Jabawocky 16th Jul 2015 13:08

I know the answer there, Sally is :ok:

Pinky the pilot 16th Jul 2015 13:45

The few time I took flying the Lady who eventually became the then Mrs Pinky, when enticed to take the controls she did so most reluctantly.:eek:

She really did not like it! And always appeared most relieved when I took control back again.:hmm:

Anyone wanna buy my boat?
No thanks jas24zzk; I think that once your current `squeeze` reads your above post, after she finishes with you:uhoh::ooh: I should be able to buy it a lot cheaper at the Estate sale!:D:E

jas24zzk 17th Jul 2015 11:28

Well mate,
she's a lawyer, so there will be no estate sale. Lawyers have a different set of skills....hence the boat would be dearer with her in control hehe

Pinky the pilot 17th Jul 2015 11:34

hence the boat would be dearer with her in control hehe
Just remember that she probably is well aware of that!:=:E

Maximise her profits an` all!:eek::ooh:

You can send someone into town to purchase those items from the stock and station agents while you refuel from the new bowser at Blackall

There you go, we're back on thread topic

Ultralights 19th Jul 2015 10:42
